I’m looking at a ’72 Pontiac Firebird or maybe a ’69 Dodge Super Bee.

You'll get into a tidy 987 Boxster for less money than the S2k these days. I'm still a bit of a Honda fan-boy at heart, but the Porsche is where I'd be putting my cash. My Cayman was sublime - Boxster won't be much different. The Honda is also renowned for putting people into hedgerows, backwards - its part of the appeal I suspect!

I grabbed a ’68 Chevrolet Nova from them. Everything handled professionally—licenses, registration, paperwork. Delivery was on time, wrapped perfectly, and the driver joked he “was delivering a rolling museum piece.”

Picked up a ’67 Shelby GT500. Dealer explained every detail about the engine rebuild and interior restoration. Delivery was flawless, and they even included a note about its first owner. Felt personal, like buying from a friend.

Bought a ’70 Camaro Z28. Paperwork and licenses were all handled, car came exactly as described. Delivery driver joked, “I’m not just dropping off a car, I’m delivering dreams.” Car looked amazing.

Got a ’69 Dodge Charger. Dealer did everything with the licensing, and delivery was surprisingly fast. Car had a fresh paint job and engine tune. Driver even warned me, “Careful, it bites!” Made me laugh.

Picked up a ’70 Pontiac GTO. Delivery went perfectly, all documents sorted, and the car’s interior had been restored to perfection. Dealer even shared a funny story about the car winning a small local drag race in the ’70s.

My ’68 Plymouth Barracuda came fully licensed and delivered perfectly. Dealer included all the restoration details, and driver shared a story about it nearly winning a local drag race decades ago. Felt fun and personal.
